About us

We offer day opportunities for adults with multiple disabilities

Our service provides high quality, culturally sensitive, day opportunities for adults with learning & physical disabilities and for those with sensory impairments. Whilst concentrating on promoting good health, social inclusion, choice and satisfying the needs of our users and carers/parents, we also aim to ensure that service users are felt valued.

Our person centred approach

Our programme is built around taking a person centred approach. The person centred approach is to meet users’ individual needs and wishes, thus helping them improve their independent skills, advocacy skills and to live as full a life as possible.

  • We aim to encourage the independence of service users
  • Our programme is designed to build on the strengths of the service users and find new areas in which they can increase their sense of efficacy, and increase their ability to advocate for themselves.
  • Service users are assisted in being able to provide themselves with a healthy meal every day.
  • We assist people to get work experience and work skills including courses
  • We assist our users to access community resources, both social and recreational
  • We aim to provide a way for our service users to access health and leisure services in order to fulfill a healthy lifestyle

Our Team Vision

Rosy Care has the vision that

  • People with learning disabilities are individual people.
  • People with learning disabilities should be asked about the services they need and be involved in making choices about what they want.
  • People with learning disabilities should be helped and supported to do everything they are able to.
  • People with learning disabilities should be able to use the same local services as everyone else, wherever possible.
  • People with learning disabilities should benefit from specialist social, health and educational services.
  • People with learning disabilities should have services, which take account of their age, abilities and specific needs.

It is further our vision to encourage innovation and creativity in order to promote the best person-centred working practices in order to enable people with learning disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

We shall promote services that will be accountable, accessible and responsive to not only the service user but also their carers, family and friends.
